Smart Water Reuse
The average person uses 120ltrs of water per day, which is converted into what we know as “Greywater”. Greywater is produced from showers, sinks, washing machines etc (not toilets). The average household washes away approx 500ltrs of water per day which equates close to 200,000 litres of water wasted per annum.
Today’s challenge is to become smarter with water usage. Installing a Greywater solution is a smart way to keep your garden green. This can be done for a very low cost with the Greymate Greywater system. When installed by a licenced plumber you could be eligible of a rebate up to $500
· The Greymate is installed on the exterior of the house and is connected to one of the Greywater outlets (bathroom is usually the best)
· Greywater is filtered though the Greymate intercepting all the undissolved solids
· Once the water storage reaches 80 litres the Greywater is pumped into the garden via subsurface drip irrigation
If you are building a house now is the time to consider smart water use. A Greyboss can be installed underground joining all of your Greywater so that reuse efficiency is maximised.
See our website for great prices on the Greymate and the Greyboss.
